If you’re like me, you may have accidentally injured a cow or two trying to feed them in Core Keeper. It’s not super clear how to feed these hungry critters and button mashing can have devastating consequences.

Food in Core Keeper has two main purposes – keeping you alive by restoring HP and reducing hunger and giving you helpful perks like extra armor or the ability to glow.

Glurch the Abominous Mass Glurch is, indeed, a large mass of slime. This boss can be found by digging down and to the left from the core. When you start seeing orange oozes and slime, you’re on the right track.

Once you find Glurch, you'll want to try to clean up the area near this massive monster. Pick up any slime tiles on the ground and kill any enemies in the area. Then, move in toward Glurch and start dealing damage.

Excellent game. As you probably know, it's basically a top-down version of Terraria or Minecraft, but in my opinion vastly superior to both. Core Keeper, conversely, is much more respectful of the player, typically allowing you to engage Core Keeper Gameplay enemies on your own terms. It's also easier to prevent enemies spawning where you don't want them to be. So you have the freedom to build a house, craft items, farm animals and plants, and cook food without being constantly bothered (unless you set up your base in a spot with a lot of enemy spawn tiles, but you can remove those to "cleanse" it anyway as mentioned above).
